THE FILMMAKER PITCH INTENSIVE: A 6-Week Workshop Build Your Pitch

Turn your story into a clear, confident pitch you can deliver anywhere.

ONLY 10 SPOTS OFFERED!

Thursdays, Starting April 2, from 5-7pm ET (April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, May 7)

*All sessions will be recorded and sent after each class

Ten students will work directly with Sara Elizabeth to refine and strengthen their pitch. Together, we’ll break down each element, giving every participant the opportunity to workshop their work.

The intensive focuses on both developing the key components of a compelling pitch and strengthening pitching techniques — from mindset and managing nerves to practical delivery. We’ll work on elements such as your logline, your “why,” themes, comps, and your project’s unique pitch hook.

You’ll figure out what works, what doesn’t, and get personalized feedback from Sara Elizabeth, so your pitch is clear, compelling, and ready to convert — every time it matters.

Over the six weeks, you’ll:

  • Refine your logline and identify the comparables that place your project in context

  • Explore the deeper “why” behind your story — why this project matters to you and why now is the right time to tell it

  • Uncover your project’s unique pitch hook

  • Workshop the themes that give your story emotional resonance

  • Practice delivering each element with clarity and confidence

  • Learn pitching techniques to manage nerves, strengthen your mindset, and improve your delivery

Each week builds directly on the last. You won’t just be learning concepts — you’ll be building and shaping your actual pitch each week.

"It is Sara Elizabeth's gift to help filmmakers develop their pitch and thinking through their film strategy. I've attended a couple of her classes and one on one consults and I always go away with even more insight and confidence to get my film made."

"I've been working with Sara Elizabeth for over a year now and without her guidance I wouldn't have had the confidence to pitch my projects to well known distributors and sales agents at the American Film Market and I certainly wouldn't have been able to secure my first investor for my doc (eeek)!"
